As September and the new Computing Curriculum approaches, more and more schools are looking at how they will implement the new programme of study in their environment. It can seem like resources are thin on the ground and if you feel like this then it is well worth signing up to these two organisations.
Computing at School
This will put you in touch with other teachers who are asking the same questions about the Computing Curriculum as you are. There are also lots of experts signed up who are sharing resources. An email is sent to you every day to alert you of events and new resources that are available. I have been registered for a few months and have already found many useful resources via this site.
Barefoot Computing
This is an organisation that has been set up to help teachers implement the new Computing Curriculum. You can sign up to test out their resources as they become available and also register your interest for the free Computing training that they will be offering. Barefoot is still relatively new but could prove extremely useful if they achieve what they have set out to do.
