This animation lesson was aimed at bringing together all the knowledge and skills that the children had learned so far. Their task was to create an animation in Pivot with two or more moving figures/objects. The animation had to look as realistic as possible and use small movements to create an end product that played smoothly.
The children had a choice of three animations. Football, horse jumping or skateboarding. I had already added the backgrounds and figures to the projects and all they needed to do was tell the story by animating. They had around 30-40 minutes to complete the task and some children were reaching around 200 frames in that time which was good going.
There was a buzz of excitement as the children worked and I was in constant demand as they eagerly showed me the next part of their animation!
